"Album Night" returns! We'll be starting off 2015 with the album that ranks #1 on Rolling Stone's top 500 albums of all time. What does that really mean? Well it means we can listen to the album and debate whether or not we agree with Rolling Stone's assessment. Of course the album in question is Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles.
Released on June 1, 1967, Sgt. Pepper's was the culmination of over 400 hours of time spent in the studio by the fab four. By abandoning a hectic touring schedule, The Beatles were able to spend those countless hours writing and recording one of the most enduring works of art that rock 'n' roll has ever offered. Wait, is that a fair assessment? Well, why don't we let the album speak for itself!
